I am also a Senior Accredited Practitioner with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy http://www.bacp.co.uk.

Experience

I have been a practicing Cognitive Behavioural (CBT) therapist for some 28 years, and one of the first accredited CBT therapists in the UK. I have worked in the NHS for the last 18 years and still work in the NHS on a part time basis. Previously I worked in Education, Social Services, for an international relief agency and as a CBT therapist at St Andrew's Hospital, the largest and best known private psychiatric hospital in the UK.

Professional Updating

I regularly attend  BABCP national and local training events and conferences in order to keep skills and knowledge up to date especially as the developments in cognitive-behavioural therapy are so rapid

Services Provided 

I provide Cognitive Behavioural (CBT) therapy, supervision to colleges and therapists in training, training and professional reports to individuals and organizations. I can provide training seminars which may be of particular benefit to other professionals for continuing professional development purposes.

 Fees

My fees are highly competitive and negotiable at £70 per session. There is also a substantially reduced fee of £60 per session for individuals who pay for each session at the time. Payments  is accepted by cheque, cash or indeed by credit or debit cards via paypal.
